Purpose

This course is designed to get you informed on Rescue Boat Systems and to increase your overall understanding of it. The aim of this course is to inform you about the several elements of a Rescue Boat System in order to be able to accomplish a safe Man Overboard drill and all the necessary preparations and checks of the System in case of an actual emergency.

The course is conducted as e-learning.

Content

Upon completion of the course, the participants will be familiar with the various elements of a Rescue Boat System on board and they will be able to tell between safe and risky operations during Rescue Boat drills and Emergencies, so these can be achieved in a safe and efficient way.

Target group

All crew members with assigned Rescue boat duties on board the vessel.
